- County-Wide Food Drive Results: 713 pounds of food and $320 donated to Otero County food pantries.
- Request for Proposal (RFP) – Otero County Legal Services released December 8, 2025. RFP documents are posted on the County website and available at the County Commissioners’ Office. The submission deadline is January 9, 2026.
- Final Budget Hearing and Adoption will not be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, as originally scheduled. Instead, a Special Public Hearing will be convened on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:30 pm, at the Otero County Courthouse, Room 107.
- Otero County offices and Landfill will be closed December 24th and Thursday, December 25, 2025, in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas and closed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
