2026 Landfill Fees

• Unloading Fee: Minimum charge of $25.00 to anyone who needs assistance.
• Width x Length x Height divided by 27 = Cubic Yards
• Uncovered, unsecured, or material visibly falling off or out of the vehicle will be charged a double rate.
• Otero County residents will have to show a current utility bill and driver's license to dump at the "county rate."
• If you have questions regarding fees or what can be accepted at the landfill, please call 719-652-0088.

We accept payment by cash or check.

Trash Category - In County Charge

• Compacted Trash - $30.00 per ton
• Household Waste (loose) - 1 yd. min. - $10.00 per cubic yard
• Mattresses & Box Springs - $10.00 per item
• Tree Limbs (less than 12 in.) - $3.00 per cubic yard
• Logs, Rail Road Ties, Stumps & Power Poles:
  • 18 inches in diameter or larger - $3.00 per linear foot
• Appliances without Freon - No Cost
• Appliances with Freon - NOT ACCEPTED
• Tires size up to 22" - $5.00 each
• Tires 22.5" to 27.5" rim size - $12.00 each
• Tires 28" rim size up to 60" - $40.00 each
• All tires with rims add - $2.00 each
• Construction Materials:
  • Clean dirt - $1.00 per cubic yard
  • Clean Concrete, Rock, Brick
    • no dirt, asphalt or rebar - $2.00 per cubic yard
  • Mixed concrete - $3.00 per cubic yard
  • Asphalt shingles - $25.00 per ton
• Dead Animals:
  • 100 lbs. or smaller - $2.00 each
    100 lbs. - $3.00 per 100 lbs.
• Contaminated Soil - $50.00 per ton
• Special Waste: Pre-approval is required & Administrative Fee will apply.
