Pursuant to HB24-1443 signed by the Governor on June 7, 2024, the Public Trustee fees have been doubled. The effective date for this increase is July 1, 2024.
The fee for a new foreclosure is now $300, where such amounts exceed $500,000 (previously $480,000) a fee of 1/16 (previously 1/32) of 1% of such original principal amount or the outstanding balance, whichever is less, but in no case less than $300.00
Due to the increase for our county will increase as of July 1, 2024, to $1000.00 to cover estimated fees and costs for our foreclosure files.
